Spirit Lifters at DLS-CSB

E-mail Print PDF

When Br. Vic joined us as President and Chancellor, he declared themes for Tuesday and Thursday inspired by Ephesians 4 : 29-32.

Ephesians 4:29-32

29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

He invited us to use truthful, gentle and kind words when we speak to one other. He called it Ephesians Tuesday and Ephesians Thursday and we called it E.T.

The year after, he declared Good News Monday and the rule was, share a good story to a member of the community. And so it followed that Friday was our Thank you day.

And this is how we live in Benilde, we accompany each other to be truthful and yet kind, spreading the good news and thanking the Divine every week.

Happy E.T.!
